The letter kits do come with arrows. BUT, if those arrows are not big enough you can use these to print bigger ones. Then there needs to be an area for personalization.

The sign comes with 7 rows for letters. If two lines are taken up the cemetery logo AND if you print an EXTRA big arrow on the another of the custom sheets, then there would be 3 lines for customization. (i.e. Burial of John Doe---then the arrow would point)

What are the letters made of? How do they stick on?

They are made of acrylic. The track is affixed to the sign face. The letters are held in by the sign track.

Swingers or tip n roll? Or will both meet our requirements?

Both will meet your requirements. If the Tip 'n Roll is filled with water, it will be a little bulkier to move. Neither sign collapses fully, so both will take up a little space when moved. Between the two, I would recommend the Swinger. BUT, if wind is not a serious issue, the Springer is also an option.

Can the pre-printed insert be placed at the top or bottom, or either?

Yes, they can be put on any of the 7 lines. BUT, each of the inserts takes up 2 lines. So, an custom arrow and a custom header would leave 3 lines for text.
